The $110 billion arms deal to Saudi Arabia is fake news !! & !!! + !!!!!!!...

Last month, President Trump visited Saudi Arabia and his administration announced that he had concluded a $110 billion arms deal with the kingdom. Only problem is that there is no deal. It’s fake news.

I’ve spoken to contacts in the defense business and on the Hill, and all of them say the same thing: There is no $110 billion deal. Instead, there are a bunch of letters of interest or intent, but not contracts. Many are offers that the defense industry thinks the Saudis will be interested in someday. So far nothing has been notified to the Senate for review. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the arms sales wing of the Pentagon, calls them “intended sales.” None of the deals identified so far are new, all began in the Obama administration.

of the population is. He's doing a good job for his handlers who want to bring the US down and remain silent. When, will Americans wake up to the fact that the new GOP is anti-American.

You are right that we are lucky to have places like DU where we can check with each other and help keep each's other sanity by verifying what we know etc.

WHEN we get rid of Trump, is there any way we can erase all the damage/lies of his administration and start over? I don't want to see his administration erased from the history books, because it will end up as an entertaining lesson on government for the children, and they could use a break. But, all this nickel and diming he's doing to buy his cronies more tax cuts is hurting people who really need the support AND paid into some of those funds he is wiping out. If he takes a nice chunk of the Republicans with him, we might have a chance of restoring some of Obama's programs.

I find it frightening that he can carry his revenge so far.

The Saudis are also negotiating a multi-billion dollar arms deal with the UK. Given where the price of oil is the Saudis don't have hundreds of billions of dollars to spend on arms-or anything else
