and the current actions of a corrupt administration peculiarly linked to Moscow as McCarthyism??!!

Sure, there are always noisy, irresponsible people, especially as one looks toward the fringes, who can be counted on to not care about truth. But they're the minority who are always with us.

THIS is about smearing the outraged mainstream Democrats, voters and representatives, who are determined to get to the bottom of what happened, as a left-wing version of John Birch Society nuts.

The issue is to protect and restore the stability and function of our democratic republic, which is under attack by very real enemies within and without.

And my own "hysteria" makes me wonder just who ALL are promoting this dishonest swiftboating attempt of an entire party. My ridiculous "paranoia" tells me the purpose of many active in the background is unquestionably inimical.

I may be wrong, but I think he used Snowden to give himself notoriety and accolades. I sure don't think he guided or protected Snowden as a source very well.

As I said, my assessment may be wrong, and Snowden himself may not have taken the necessary precautions, but Greenwald sure seemed to exploit it to inflate his already inflated ego

from America's far left who have too often been willing to use at least some of McCarthy's despicable tactics, such as this smear, and whose behavior is constant proof of his disregard for unuseful truths. And Russia state TV gives a bunch of them a platform.

We're hearing this aggressive defense from lots of anti-Democratic sources now. As it gets revved up on the far left and across the right, and of course from overseas, it's moving into the MSM, in which of course Republicans are very well represented: Russia and rump are both very possibly innocent victims of (oxymoronic) "Democratic Party McCarthyism."

The wheels of the investigations are grinding, we will learn what happened, and if provable crimes were committed (beyond the ones we can list now), indictments will follow. And this isn't going to stop it.

Reading those makes it very clear that his agenda is not just.
