Maybe as things develop it will make more sense

She's working as a contractor for what, 4 months?
She gmails (seriously) this document to 'The Intercept' - who no one has ever heard of

The hype is already reminding me of another interpreter, Sibel Edmonds, and how everyone was SURE her info would take down Bush!!!1111

Ms Winner didn't "leak" with her gmail account or using the Internet, at all.

A printed copy of the NSA report was sent anonymously from Augusta, Georgia.

9. She released a mediocre top-secret document about Russia hacking state voter roles.

What was the imperative cause to break the law to release the info NOW?

Why not just wait till the investigations produce yet another report including said info?

What was her goal?

The report, when you look like past the headlines, really isn't that revealing or groundbreaking.

It exposes just more details on what President Obama already told us happened when he took action against Russia for their interference. And I trust that had PBO felt it was important for the American people to know the remaining details this revealed he certainly would have had them released.

It didn't establish any link to actual hacking of vote counts. It didn't expose any actual influence at all. It just established some mediocre attempts to hack a company that makes software a handful of states use to maintain voter registration rolls, with no evidence that anything past that happened.

I certainly would have thrown myself on that sword to sacrifice my entire future for. Because in the end she really didn't reveal anything much.

11. Perfectly summarized, thank you. Why so many are in awe is beyond me.

Maybe I am just assuming that the top-secret curious but not earth-shattering info leaked illegally would have come out in the normal course of the investigations, just like in the 1st IC report in January.

Please contribute to the defense fund if you can. This young woman is a patriot who is trying to shed light on the collusion with the Russians. We need to support her as our hero.
