So, Why Is Trump Scheduled To Speak At A Religious Meeting When Comey Is Testifying? Thre Theories.

Trump is scheduled to speak to a religious group at the same time Comey is slated to testify. Why would they schedule this? Three possible reasons:

1. We saw Trump pull this stunt before, when he insisted that Megyn Kelly be excluded from the Fox News debate. Roger Ailes said no, so Trump boycotted the debate, and held a competing FAKE FUNDRAISER for veterans as a way of drawing ratings away from the Fox debate. It succeeded in bringing Ailes to heel. So, maybe he thinks that stunt will work again, here? It won't.

2. He's depressed about this, and his nannies (ie-staff) know the only way to buck up his spirits is to have him speak at a rally. So, it could be meant as an antidepressant.

or

3. My personal favorite. They scheduled this speech to coincide with Comey's testimony to KEEP HIM AWAY FROM THE TV, so that he can't TWEET LIVE about it. We saw what happened last time. The dingleberry was tweeting live during the hearings, and Congressmen were asking the witnesses to address Trump's tweets in real time. That would be a disaster...so THEY'RE TRYING TO KEEP BABY DISTRACTED.

2. They'll coordinate a bunch of bots that appear to be Christians making all sorts of excuses

And wails of support for DT. They'll use god for the planned Tweetstorm.

5. Exactly, plus he'll tweet his phony faith to rally the faithful

to his defense and they will respond with wails of genuine if religiously warped support. (How can people who believe Satan literally walks the earth never wonder if they're on the right side these days?)

Also agree with Buster and Nolabear about #3, probably what his handlers consider a major victory. Such clever little weasels that they aren't.

6. This is why they're denying there is a war room. Its so much more than honing the message it's about

Weaponizing it on twitter, FB, and releasing websites and having bots link to them and quote them, burying real news to page 3-4 of google results. They don the want to admit this is how they wage war.

9. I've noticed they're stepping up leaking fake crap to reliable media-

WaPo refused to publish some crap because they wouldn't allow them to describe the source as someone "close to Kushner" so only the NY Post reported it.
This is questionable. The media should be reporting this as a "claim" becasue its dubious .

this stuff for the past couple of weeks, just got to be too much, but of course as the investigations speed up so does all the other maneuvering.

11. It was cool that WaPo responded saying where that bit came from- friends of Jared-

And that it didn't pass their sniff test. I thought that was important. More important than whatever the bit was, something vaguely positive about what's going on in the Oval. It's great the media stepped in to throw shade on the NY Post for allowing itself to be used like that.
Lots of reporters say the WH deliberately leaks all the time, same people who complain about the leaks.

15. The WaPo was less dishonest in its coverage about HRC

and etc. than the WaPo. I'm going to be dropping one of my subscriptions, to the NYT for some years now or the WaPo, which I only subscribed to on a special deal for the election. More and more it seems like I should keep the WaPo for honesty, even if its coverages are more limited.

And, yes, that nasty rump crew apparently leaks for any and all reasons, but reportedly often just to try to take each other down. O'Donnell called them a confederacy of dunces, leakers and back-stabbers and that rump had to be wondering how many were counting the days to a Pence presidency. Which makes one wonder what some might be doing to try to be kept on by Pence.

There was virtually no leaking from the Obama WH. One, O was in control and wouldn't tolerate it; but second, his people, liberals and some moderate cons, believed in what he wanted to accomplish.

I wish they, and our party, got half the respect they deserve.
