aside from all the people that have turned down the FBI nomination:
quote from WaPo:
Those four withdrawals are hardly the only ones the Trump administration has seen. Three of Trumps picks to head the Army and Navy have withdrawn from consideration, Vincent Viola (Army), Philip Bilden (Navy) and Mark Green (Army). His first pick to run the Labor Department withdrew. His pick for deputy treasury secretary withdrew, as did his pick for deputy commerce secretary. Trumps first pick to run the Office of Drug Control Policy, Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.), withdrew. Monica Crowley, his pick for National Security Council spokesperson, withdrew. A lawyer on the shortlist for solicitor general withdrew.
Even Trump senior adviser Kellyanne Conways husband, George, withdrew from consideration for a top job with the Justice Department. Why? His response to Trumps tweets about the entry ban Monday offer some hint. In a series of tweets, George Conway defended his criticism of Trumps comments about the travel ban earlier that day.
....................................................................
Yahoo News reported Tuesday that four different major law firms declined to represent Trump in the investigations into his campaigns possible relationship with Russian actors during the 2016 campaign.

For individuals considering positions with the administration, theres another risk. Trump insists upon loyalty from his workers (including, according to a New York Times report, from Comey) but is not always generous with returning the favor. He has publicly disparaged or undercut advisers and staffers including Stephen K. Bannon, H.R. McMaster, Sean Spicer, Rod J. Rosenstein and Mike Pence.

There has to be a limited amount of people willing to permanently ruin their lives, don't you think?
Or not?

(7,188 posts)2. For me, George Conway's withdrawal is the RED FLAG. His reason was so lame, he said
he determined that it was not a good time to leave private practice.

Who wants to work for a sociopath/psychopath/narcissistic, demented, horrible, heartless traitor who cannot read or speak well, has the attention span of a toddler, has little self control, and cannot think logically or wisely?

Would you want to hire someone who had such bad judgment they worked for the Trump administration?
