Let's recap: Sanders went all over the USA holding rallies to earn his votes. He did not take
corporate money. Donation came in on average of $27 dollars. He wrote a book and
received a <$800,000 advance - like the other candidates...

In the US that would be $460,000 agi a year which includes millions of Americans, but on a world scale 1% is above $32,000. By wealth in the US it's $7.7 million in assets.

It's not that simple to say anything squarely.

But, Bernie never said he was poor. He fought for the poor and working class, but he never said he was in the class. That said, if a person who has been in Congress for as long as he has and is only making $1 million, that is nothing compared to what his corrupt fellow congressmen make.
