And it seems like the WH realized they need to reach out to more credible media outlets. To me it sounds like gossip the WH would love to distract us with.

I just looked into another version of the story from NY Post: http://nypost.com/2017/06/06/sessions-offered-to-resign-amid-special-counsel-tension-report/

This is the part that should potentially be a red flashing light:

"which prompted Sessions to offer to resign, ABC News reported, citing multiple sources close to the president."

Similar "palace intrigue" stuff that kind of muddied the waters in a good way for Trump. Was glad to see the WaPo out there vocally saying it didn't pass their smell test. If WaPo and the NYT are in to this shit, they'll peddle it elsewhere. They are pulling out all the stops.

I've been disappointed by them a bit- feel like they should be using the word "claimed" a lot more often.

A lot of people repeated the "no war room" and me thinks the WH doth protest too much. I doth think that! LOL

The "rift" is apparently because Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation - which is really the only thing he could have done. Trump is pissed that Sessions didn't quash the investigation - which, of course, means that Trump is up to his badly-made-up eyeballs in this shit.

Here's reality: The Republicans have got to know how bad Trump is damaging their brand. Sometime next year they will find justification to get rid of the bastard. Hopefully there will be an America left to save.
