BTW Andrew McCArthy ,the conservative former prosecutor and National Review writer, said that Trump was within his rights to ask Comey to call off the investigation of Flynn because he was exercising "prosecutorial discretion" after weighing the equities.

This struck me as absurd on a number levels.

- Flynn might implicate him
- The president doesn't involve himself in criminal investigations .
- The prosecutor weighs the equities (after the investigation) to see if the crime is worthy of prosecution taken into account the severity of the crime and the character and criminal record of the defendant.

BTW, Tucker Carlson thought it was a great argument.

"He's an outsider. He didn't know how things are done in DC. He was "used" to doing things the NY way." I am sure a lot of New Yorkers will be astonished to earn that lying, throwing your staff and anyone else you perceive is in your way under the bus, bullying people, insulting other executives and leaders will be the way you do business. Basically acting like a mobster or one of their goons is how you get your way.

To imply that "he just didn't know any better" is about as lame as it gets. As if he didn't have access to plenty of people who could have explained to him how to conduct business from the White House. How do you get to be 70+ years old and not have a clue how ethics in the way you conduct business works??

Everyone with a little knowledge knows tRump clearly has all the earmarks of a person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. NOTHING he does in his life...business or personal....should surprise anyone. Saying he doesn't know better is just laughable.

And if he doesn't, he asks the WH Counsel. That is how it is supposed to work.

Sometimes you've got to play with the hand you're dealt. I'm just a poor rube from New York City uneducated in the wily ways of Washington, so cut me some slack. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Good luck.

Protocol on the same day *45 invites Comey for dinner & a few courses of attempted influence ...

Next....

The "too stupid to know it is wrong...cuz that's just how bid-ness men talkz" dog don't hunt either...
Since
clearing the room to have privacy
before attempting to influence FBI Director..

Suggests that *45 knew he was about to say things he did not want witnessed by any other WH or DoJ members... including FBI Director's immediate superior....

Nice Try...
