intercede in the Republican primary to favor Trump over a Russian critic like Rubio?

The Republicans should be just as outraged and demanding to get to the bottom of this.

If you want to influence somebody, it's easier not to introduce new beliefs, but to reinforce the already-existing ones you want.

The left wants progress, the right doesn't. Reinforce their beliefs... Hence, Russia is post-communist, even though many of the same power players during the USSR are the same players in New Russia, like with Putin going from KGB to FSB to president as well as playing into the whole war with homosexuals and Muslims the right wants.
