Wow! Comey is being remarkably candid. This is what we all need right now.

When a president says to a high ranking USG official, can you come to dinner, you generally don't tell him that you have to wash your hair that night. You go to dinner.

When a president says I hope or I wish, he's not a kid talking about his choice of a birthday present. He's giving an order.

When a mob boss tells an underling that a rival mob boss is a pain in the butt, this is not the start of a discussion about hemorrhoids. It's a directive to make the problem go away.

Comey refuses to answer as to his opinion. He doesn't want to get into the business of answering questions like that about this person and that person.

(And really, it doesn't matter what he believes; what matters is the investigation result and facts.)

I truly can't watch Cotton without getting angry.

E.g., someone like Flynn might might not have been under FBI investigation but was under CIA investigation due to the role of each agency (CIA = foreign).
