McCain's questions to Comey sucked

I've been hoping that he's the Republican Senator with a sense of duty to country that is concerned about Putin and would most pursue Trump's collusion/obstruction. But, his questions of Comey today were awful. All he talked about was Hillary's email investigation and rambled in a practically senile way about why she isn't still under investigation if the Russians tried to influence the election and she was a part of the election.

They had Comey's statement in advance, I thought he'd have some solid questions that might delve into things. The questions I heard him ask near the end of the session were lame. Any random educated citizen could have done a better job.

McCain really seemed to have something wrong with him. He needs medical attention.

and Lindsay Graham always talk a good game on contentious issues but ultimately fall in line with the rest of their repug colleagues when it really matters.

They try to appear principled and independent but they are just party line voters when the sh_t hits the fan.

9. His thinking wasn't clear, and he kept referring to Trump as "Comey".

More than once, in referencing the president, he called him Comey, even calling him "President Comey" but shut that off immediately because he knew that didn't sound right.

Comey looked a bit confused during the questioning. After the second misnaming, he realized something was wrong with mccain and tried to answer him as best as he could understand him without embarassing the old senator.

Why would comey be investigating HRC campaign when they were the victims and there were no known contacts between that campaign and the russians?

that he is having issues. I was hoping that the Chairman would cut him short to keep him from embarrassing himself. I think he might want to consider retiring.

He obviously cannot let the Clinton thing go!

I'll stand by my other posts on this. He deserves a cream pie in his face, hopefully in public.

6. He's lost it and I don't say that as a "throw-away" line. I think he has true health issues

I guess when you get in your 80s, you can have good days and bad days, but in addition to seeming confused, this was like he had no intention of exploring the issues at hand.
