I'm just really glad that this particular "L-word" is being flung about as liberally and as easily as it now is. We have it on the record, under oath, in Senate hearings from the former Director of the FBI, no less. Time was, no one DARED say the President lies. We tried like hell to push that when bush/cheney were lying their asses off about WMD and all the cockamamie "reasons" why we HAD TO-HAD TO-HAD TO invade Iraq. And nobody dared. Toward the end of that whole ordeal, the closest we got was some flaccid, pathetic, mealy-mouthed poor excuse for a headline in, I think, the New York Times - that read: "Prevaricating President?"
