Thinking about McCain, maybe it wasn't sudden-onset dementia.

Maybe it was a substance issue of some sort?

It's not like he'd be the first Congressman to show the signs.

Could have even been prescription drugs. Maybe something new. Maybe he accidentally mixed a couple of pills that he shouldn't have.
