Not so much here in the states....

The system is broken. Here's hoping we can fix it before our Republic becomes wholly owned and operated by the GOP and their puppet masters

They poll a subset of 500 or 1000 people, and have to project that sample over the entire electorate.

So, they have to guess on a "breakdown" of that entire electorate that will theoretically match who actually shows up to vote- they get it wrong quite often.

There are two kinds of people- those who will stand loud and proud and announce their vote to anyone who asks, and those who will go right on by and also try to stomp on the questioner's ankle as he/she does so (I might be in the latter group- LOL).

I'm not sure these two groups exactly match the overall voting population.
