John Scalzi re: impeachment

Quote:

The House is as likely to vote to impeach Trump on this or indeed any other illegal/unethical thing he’s actually currently doing as I am to sprout a peach tree out of my tailbone. This is your occasional reminder that today’s GOP has no moral or ethical center, and apparently works under the belief that the entire point to the life of the average American citizen is to fork over their progressively declining wages to large companies to make the very rich that much richer. Trump’s helping with that goal, so why would they get in the way with that? Trump could tromp into the White House rose garden, club Sean Spicer to death live on Fox and Friends, and then skull-fuck the bloody corpse, chortling about his electoral college victory all the while, and all you would get out of the GOP is Paul Ryan’s patented little grimace, and the general argument that it’s the president’s prerogative to skull-fuck the corpse of any of his staff, so why is the mainstream media making such a big deal about it.

So, yeah. Don’t pick out your glittery impeachment pants just yet. You’re gonna have to wait for 2019 at the earliest for that.

Close quote (the damn excerpt, blockquote, and italics functions don't seem to be working).

Unfortunately, I agree.

He is in this up to his ass and beyond. Ryan needs this meal ticket and that is the bottom line. All about the money.

that person can keep any left over campaign funds for their own use. The one that we know that has blown up is,Chaffetz in Utah. He used some 170+k of his own Campaign funds for personal use and got busted. Because of Secrecy laws the case was sealed so the out come so far we know is,Jason will be done in 21 days.

We are only a few months in and the WH and Admin is a disaster and they know they are tied to it. It will reach a point that it is dragging everyone down and the barely useful idiot will get the Hook. There is list a mile deep of people that The Wig embarrassed, bad mouthed publicly, cheated, lied to etc. in Washington and he will pay the piper at some point. They are all standing by, ready to stick the dagger in, twist, and announce their opposition - when it becomes politically advantageous to do so. It's coming.

*45 will do it gladly and willingly if they can give him a decent excuse and make him believe it's his idea. Family comes to mind, even though he could care less about any of them but Ivanka. He hates the gig. No doubt.

out 24/7.

I've felt like this was all part of a big GOP plan, dating back to when they put up 17 candidates. THAT in itself was unbelievable.
The GOP way = chaos works in our advantage. HOW MUCH chaos do we have now?
