Better Romney than another in the mold of Mike Lee. 71% of Utahns want Hatch to retire.

It's sad but true that I'd rather have Mitt Romney than another Utah tea party nutjob like Mike Lee.

Communications could have all been done behind closed doors. I don't even think it helps Romney's chances, IF he even wants to run.

Park City, Utah (CNN) Former Vice President Joe Biden is encouraging onetime rival Mitt Romney to return to public life and run for Senate.

Biden spoke at Romney's ideas summit, an annual gathering of donors and business leaders in Utah.

During a private event Friday night in Park City, Biden called Romney a man of integrity and said he should mount a challenge next year, according to a person in the room.

Speculation has grown that Romney could run for the Senate in Utah. But first, Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch, 83, must decide whether he wants to seek an eighth term.

Once media started to cover the possibility of the Utah baton being handed from Hatch to Romney

commit to seeking re-election

Thereby forcing Hatch to have to tell Romney
Too bad ...
sorry I got your hopes up
but Trump really wants me to seek re-election

IOW.... *45 must have something on Hatch...
And nothing on Romney....
