Is a cinch that he hasn't the faintest idea who Gabby is, or that there is a ship being named after her.

He would likely quash the name being given to the ship!

He would hate her for several reason's, #1 being that she is far more intelligent and a woman.

She is a hero of Democracy, while he is a pariah of humanity.

I miss Gabby Giffords and her voice in Congress. I miss her bright wit, her optimism, her aptitude for the job. I knew her for several years before she was shot, and she said "I don't do handshakes, I do hugs," and she did. Still does, by the way (I saw her once after the shooting, two years later, and was thrilled that she still recognized me enough to reach out and grab me).

She remains that very special person, but she is now trapped inside the physical limitations of what the bullet left her with. Still pretty amazing.

Her cognitive capabilities weren't greatly impaired, just mostly motor (but they were drastic).

Now I am represented by Martha McSalley who is backing away from DT
as quick as she can.
