The ACA is better than what we had, but I have no illusions that its major intent was to help people

If they really wanted to help people they would not have backloaded the pre-existing conditions to take effect until 2014, and in the interim if someone has a pre-existing condition, they have to be without insurance for 6 months before they qualify for COOPs. This implies tha t if someone has a pre-existing condition that is serious enough, that they will not be around in 6 months to utilize that feature

The aca was written by the insurance companies, for the insurance companies

If by some miracle the Democrats win Congress, they had better correct the intentional blunders they made when they passed this bill
