Am I the only one creeped out when they say' I serve for the pleasure of the president' ?

is the actual legal phrase, I believe. The Attorney General and the FBI Chief serve at the pleasure of the President. He is technically free to fire anyone in the Executive Branch of the Government. Correct me if I am wrong.
