I believe that mental stability or instability isn't partisan. Obviously something snapped inside of him enough that he took the trip from Illinois put aside the feelings and love of his family and friends up there and started shooting at people. That's not mentally healthy no matter how you look at it.

On his page above there's a picture of what I think was his granddaughter, young girl having fun on a jet ski. My heart goes out to her and any other grandchildren or loved ones he had. I suspect they didn't see this coming.

Sanders to this day aggressively goes after the Republican vote. We know many supporters were not Democrats and never Democrats, needing caucus and open primary in Red States. Because he is a Sanders supporter or shot Republicans, does not make him a Democrat.

I do think Republican voters own the hate, divisiveness, violence, murder committed thru their agenda. And I would have to own this as a Democrat, if the man was a Democrat. He was not.

That is my point of not owning it. How I will address on social media is that this was not a Democrat. He was a Sanders supporter that voter Stein. Anti-Democrat and X-Republican. I understand media will not present it that way. I will argue that point.

Illinois is not a hot bed of liberalism ( where gunman is from). I was raised near there. My mom's family is from Decatur. They are all republicans.

He was just one of those mad as hell people who wanted CHANGE and I don't think he much cared what form it took.

A deep thinker is not something he'd seem to be, nor was he partisan.

However, the gunz, gunz, gunz drumbeat of the GOP has finally bitten some of them on the ass. They'll try to deflect, of course, and the breathless bafflegabbers on the TV will twist themselves into corkscrews trying to spin it away from the NRA, but Republican Congressmen feel a lot less safe today than they did yesterday because they know how many gunz they've managed to get out there.

Now they know: and armed society isn't a polite society, it's a terrified society.

At least the injuries were not life threatening this time. The shooter has died so we'll never know what was going on in his head.

I took a look at the page, and while it does seem to be anti-1%ers and anti-Trump, it would be interesting to confirm this information with voter registration and/or party affiliation data.
