Did I hear Mika say she was just visiting Sweden?

She was going on and on about women and MEN having a year's maternity/paternity leave in Sweden? I think her brother is our ambassador to Sweden and so perhaps last week she was visiting him.

That's interesting. I hope she talks about how "awful" that SOSHULISM is over there!!!

People in this country don't know squat about how well the Scandinavians live...they think they are oppressed by excessive taxation...HAH!

but I do hope she talks about what the social safety net is like in Sweden, compared to the U.S. I know that she is very concerned about mothers in the workforce and how they struggle to cope with the demands on them. I would think she would want to discuss the glaring discrepancy of how mothers (and fathers) are able to function as parents and as productive workers in their society over there compared to our own miserable example in the U.S.
