Rosenstein issued unusual statement about leaks & seems to hint that USG knows Five Eyes leaking

Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein just issued an unusual statement basically telling people not to believe leaks.

Rosenstein also seems to hint that the USG knows of some Five Eyes officials leaking, which would not be super surprising.

Why else was it made. The DOJ doesn't care what people hear, they never talk about investigations anyway.

This statement sounds coerced. Is Rod trump's personal toadie?

The "Five Eyes" (FVEY) refer to an alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. These countries are bound by the multilateral UKUSA Agreement for joint cooperation in signals intelligence, military intelligence, and human intelligence.

That Tillerson was in charge and made decisions for the US. That source was an anonymous international official.

and I pictured him pounding and stomping and breaking things in the Oval Office til he finally frantically called up the Department of Justice demanding to know if he could investigate an unknown US ally for leaking fake news, ha! Don't know if the timing coincides properly with Deputy AG Rosenstein's official statement about "anonymous allegations" but I can imagine Trump bellowing at him to do something.

Here's the link to the thread about that Tweet, posted earlier today by DonViejo:

when I heard Rosenstein's plea: trump is pissed because one of our allies said the Mattis and Tillerson are running Foreign Policy; trump is clueless on it.

I think it's about the news of the last 24 hours on obstruction of justice and Kushner's financial dealings.

Remember that the trump/kushner group has business dealings all over. Both have business ties in China. Jared was trying to get a deal with Wu Xiaohui, the chairman of Anbang Insurance Group. Who got taken away by Chinese authorities last Friday.

Look at known locations of donnie's business ties here.

He has business ties in the Middle East which may cause problems.

Since he threw down on Qatar recently some official there could say something.

And don't forget Russia. Since there is a chance donnie may not be able to help Russia on the sanctions if the sanctions bill passes the House they may toss something out as a warning shot that he needs to get busy.

In the end I think there may be not only multiple locations, but multiple types cases show up. Not just money laundering, but possibly bribery.
