If I were Rod Rosenstein, I would be looking for another job...

Trump is going to ask him to fire Mueller.

He is going to refuse. And he will be gone. Then the Deputy AG position will have to be filled.

In the meantime, Donald will go down the chain of command until he finds someone that will fire Mueller.

He doesn't want this investigation to continue.

He isn't worried about political consequences - he is worried about his Big Orange Ass.

She is only 44 and I doubt she wants to Bork her career. If she doesn't do it, then it leaves only Obama holdovers and civil servants. Not one of them will do it. So Rosenstein is safe at least until Trump gets more people at DOJ.
