Cuban Missile Crisis Redux? Thanks for that Two Scoops.

So Obama thaws relations with Cuba. So tourists are generally unhappy with what they find there. But there was hope. In fact, Cuba was sharing intel with our IC. It was admittedly nascent, but they were trying to be cautious good neighbors.

So along comes the man with the meat axe. No Treaty for You, Raoul.

Well guess what?

Cuba needs those Yankee Dollars. We get Cohibas and Cuba Libres and they get Bux. But since Two Scoops wants to play up to a few thousand hard core Cubans in Dade County, far fewer Yankee Dollars for the island.

So NOW guess what?

Russia has already forgiven all of Cuba's debt. Now, they're poised to move in. To build stuff. To invest. To BE there.

There is talk of a "small" Russian military installation on the island.
