Why do people care about Megyn Kelly?

So a fox news anchor is trying to make it on a network and failing miserably, who cares? She interview the Alex Jones nut and now Alex Jones is leaking the interview before the air date. Looks like another fail for Megyn. I haven't even watched the show - is there anything worth tuning in for?

I don't watch TV either, and don't give a damn about MK.

But if NBC lobs this bag of shit onto the airwaves Sunday, it will pretty much toss the last shovel of earth onto the hope that network news would, at some level, do its job of separating "newsmakers" from paranoid clown-fuckers like Alex Jones.

6. The only time I ever noticed her was when Obama won in 2012 Karl Rove sent her down to FOX's

"War Room" to verify that Obama had indeed won the election (after FOX itself had declared Obama the winner). It was hilarious watching her dutifully leave her seat as moderator and tromp down the hallway to do Rove's bidding.

7. Fox spores

It's like Fox has emits spores that colonize MSM and make it even less likely that regular people can hear anything that's not RW propaganda.

That is worrisome.

to move more forward leaning people out of NBC/MSNBC by Andy Lack who is trying to turn the cable station into more right leaning tv. She's one along with the hire of Greta & Hugh Hewitt.

Greta's show has dismal ratings and this Megyn Kelly business is blowing up in his face. In addition, the fans of Al Roker/Tamron Hall are furious at them being pushed aside and if her show is a flop at 9am she won't provide a good lead in for Cathy Lee and Hoda which could hurt their show. He wanted to get rid of Larry O'D and that had people picketing NBC. The station is getting great ratings and doing well without his interference and I'm betting he's on thin ice because stockholders don't like a loser.

11. Because she's a sex symbol.

That's all she has going for her, as far as I can tell. I suppose the (dyed) platinum blonde hair reminds some people of Marilyn Monroe. And she dresses in such a way as to draw attention to her legs. That whole episode on Fox a few years ago when she walked over to another room was about showing off her legs. Try watching that scene (you can find it easily by Googling "Megyn Kelly walks&quot and tell me it's about anything but her hair and legs.

I'd be very curious to know the demographics of her fans -- I'd be willing to be the vast majority are straight white men.

12. For what NBC is paying her, they could have a room full of actual journalists.

Kelly adds nothing to any discourse that isn't about her.
