(43,182 posts)Mueller? (That would be factually correct.)
Rosenstein? (I presume that's who he's talking about)
The ghost of J. Edgar Hoover? Sasquatch? A 1972 Ford Falcon?

(5,327 posts)This is unreal, really.
First off, he's admitting that he's under investigation, but I think he also did that yesterday.... but even more significantly he just said that SOMEBODY TELLS HIM WHAT TO DO!

(101,321 posts)The advantage of being president is that you know who your jury is going to be - 100 senators (plus 438 Representatives as the deciders to prosecute). So you can use a medium you know they'll all look at (they have to, to be informed for their job), and cast as much doubt as possible in their minds. With that doubt, he can probably keep enough Republicans on his side to get away with it all, since they have a lot invested in not exposing their party as corrupt and stupid.

(94,598 posts)This is pure impulse. I'm guessing that if you had been watching FOX & FRIENDS (as Trump was), some commentator made the observation about Rosenstein urging trump to fire Comey and then appointing Mueller to investigate Trump, and Trump tweeted it 5 minutes later.

(101,321 posts)He may not be Machiavelli, but that doesn't mean he isn't thinking "I want every possible idea that makes me look better out there to someone, to give me a better chance of surviving". And that include effectively retweeting Fox & Friends so that Republican voters, and Republican politicians, are sure to see it.

(4,187 posts)People are doing a great disservice to all those who suffer from dementia by claiming, based on their own personal ignorance, that dementia is what Trump is suffering from.
Before you start spreading misinformation, do some research.
It's a fucking joke.
I'm not your enemy.

Fait Accompli
(40 posts)This is so strange, especially after Rosenstein came to the president's defense last night with that bizarre message about not believing stories with questionable sources.
