Dear President Trump: Resign Today!

That would be the biggest Friday news dump yet in a time when Friday news dumps have been pretty spectacular. Here's why you should do this, and do it today:

1. You know you want to, am I right?
2. Think of the stress all that witch hunting is going to cause you.
3. The entire nation will break out in applause for you when you do this.
4. Your poll approval ratings will skyrocket right out of sight.
5. Putin is getting weary of you at this point. And you know what Putin does with people who weary him.
6. Ben Carson's Black Jesus is watching you. Do the right thing.
7. You'll be able to spend more "quality time" with your family.
8. No more need to wake up early to tweet.
9. It's Golf season, for pity's sake. Schedule daily tee times now.
10. You know you want to, am I right?

Just do it, Mr. President. You'll feel so much better after you do. Better than an orgasm, I'm betting!

With your best interests always my highest priority, I am,

Sincerely,

MineralMan - The Minnesota Moses

THINK HOW MUCH APPLAUSE YOU WILL RECEIVE UPON RETURNING TO MAR A LAGO AS "FORMER PRESIDENT" WHO HAS DONE THE MOST TO MAGA.

IMAGINE DONNY

GO BACK TO GOLFING WHERE YOUR LUSTROUS TOUSLED BLOND YOUNG-LOOKING LOCKS

and Trump is the absolute worst "Precedent" in my life. He doesn't deserve the title and I will never use it in conjunction with his name. My Dad (RIP) always called W "Dumbo", never used the title President.

1. You know you want to, am I right? - He probably hates his job but he can't think of a face-saving excuse to quit.

2. Think of the stress all that witch hunting is going to cause you. - He needs to win.

3. The entire nation will break out in applause for you when you do this. - He knows that's not why we'll be applauding.

4. Your poll approval ratings will skyrocket right out of sight. - Nixon's were at 25% when he resigned.

5. Putin is getting weary of you at this point. And you know what Putin does with people who weary him. - But Pooty loves him!

6. Jesus is watching you. Do the right thing. - Jesus? Who's that?

7. You'll be able to spend more "quality time" with your family. - His wife can't stand him and his youngest son probably couldn't pick him out of a lineup. The rest of them will be in Leavenworth.

8. No more need to wake up early to tweet. - He *likes* getting up early to tweet, probably while on the toilet.

9. It's Golf season, for pity's sake. Schedule daily tee times now. - Being president hasn't stopped him from playing golf.

10. You know you want to, am I right? - He still can't think of a face-saving reason to quit.

I think he knows that if he is found guilty, he needs a bargaining chip. His first line of defense is that he's President (so, like, all those laws don't apply to him). I think he thinks about this MOST. I think he doesn't think this will really threaten him personally.

But somewhere in his dark and empty heart, he also knows that if the worst were to happen, he needs to be pardoned. I doubt he spends much time on this scenario (I just don't think he's smart enough to go there). But still, he sort of, kind of, knows.

He needs Pence to pardon him.

If he resigned today, frankly (and this is just from his own self-interest perspective, and let's be honest - that's his ONLY perspective), he'd leave himself open.

If he is offered a deal, and he needs one (in his eyes), he'll walk

Until then..............

After all, think about how much Pence would like to be President. All The Donald needs to do is ask. Pence will oblige.

He acknowledged that pardoning Nixon almost certainly cost him the election in 1976. It will all depend on how toxic Trump has become by the time he hauls his ugly orange ass out of the White House. Pence might find it politically untenable to pardon a Russian agent.

he would be only worse on policy but he is much smoother PR wise. I want Trump to stay and keep tweeting away. That is why he is at 64% disapproval. The GOP is on the defensive with Trump and I want him to be the issue going into 2018.
