My 100th Diary: Another Message For Die-Hard Trump Voters

We’ve heard members of the political ruling class and others lecture us on how we should engage the Trump voter. Instead of berating them, looking down upon them, and calling them names, we should try to engage them with civility if we are intent on bringing them over to right side. We’ve also been told that not all Trump voters are racist, that many of them are decent and honest people who’ve made an unfortunate mistake, and that casting a vote for Trump should not be interpreted as an act of racism, violence, and malice by his opponents. The news media has wagged its finger at us, saying that our opposition to the president and his followers is too intense……….

Well, here is a list of some of the despicable things that Donald Trump has done in the first few months of his presidency:

1. Ended DAPA for Undocumented immigrants(adults) 
2. Appointed Ben Carson secretary of Housing and Urban Development even though he has no     experience. 
3. Fired the director of the FBI for failing to demonstrate personal loyalty to him
4. Handed the Labor Department to a serial violator of labor law
5. Handed the Environmental Protection Agency to a climate denialist
6. Provoked heightened diplomatic tensions with two nuclear-armed states.
7. Picked a man who once tried to call for the abolition of the Energy Department — but      couldn’t remember the department’s name — as secretary of Energy
8. Pulled us out of the Paris Climate Agreement
9. Curtailed civil rights protections in all areas of the federal government
10. Appointmented a racist as the Attorney General
11. Cheered the passage of a healthcare document that will rip healthcare away from 23 million people
12. Reduced funding to the United Nations
13.  Increased deportation of law abiding undocumented immigrants
14.  Damaged our country’s relationship with our European allies
15.  Encouraged violence and bullying of marginalized groups
16.  Put forward a budget that guts the Environmental Protection Agency, 
17. Attempted to shove a racist and unconstitutional travel ban down our throats
18. Auhorized a missle launch in Syria while eating the “best” chocolate cake
19. Promoted his children to high positions in the White House(Nepotism)
20. Embroiled our country in a burgeoning constitutional crisis
21. Lowered our country’s standing in the world
22. Abdicated Leadership
23. Sabotaged Obamacare
24. He’s mainstreamed cruelty

Millions of lives—mine included— are going to be negatively impacted—maybe ruined forever— because of Trump’s malicious and short sighted actions. The Trump voter sanctioned the above actions with their votes. Thus, I’m not in the mood to offer very much civility to his voters.
