I actually feel sorry for Melania here. She doesn't look one bit happy. Makes me wonder if those stories are true - about how they'd already signed divorce papers assuming he'd lose, but then learning they'd won - and that they were stuck with each other.

I felt exactly the same way. I thought we had turned the page, finally gotten over that stupid racial crap that held everybody back and had us at each other's throats to the extent that we'd once tried to rip the whole country apart. I thought we'd finally grown up and gotten past all that.

I was so proud of us. I was so proud of this country, thinking that this election meant we have grown up and gotten over that stupid shit.
