He Will Display Miraculous Powers
Paul knew that this man of lawlessness would dazzle those who are deceived and that is why many will worship him. In 2 Thessalonians 2 -12 Paul writes that “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” The sad fact is that people will be so far removed from knowing Jesus Christ that they won’t recognize the true God from the false one. These powers are also mentioned in Revelation 13:13 as he “performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven, to the earth in full view of the people.” The difference is Jesus never performed miracles to draw attention to Himself but to glorify God. The Anti-Christ will try and draw glory to himself with miracles (John 4:48).

666 5th Avenue.

That's the building on which his side of the family is so far underwater, debt-wise, that there are suspicions he may have been meeting with Russian bankers looking for a loan.

As the investigators were always told: "follow the money."

Doesn't Jared kind of remind you of an adult Damien from "The Omen"?

He was sent to overthrow a rich, powerful politician and take his place.

Curiouser and curiouser.

What would make people worldwide fall to their knees and worship "it" so easily and quickly? Some very powerful being, probably not of this world. Not your normal "run of mill" human being. Not even Hitler or Napoleon had such worldwide cult worship.

Your post reminded me of a recent show on SYFY network called "Childhood's End"..

http://nypost.com/2015/12/15/syfy-series-childhoods-end-spawns-awesome-satanic-alien/

Based on the 1953 novel by Arthur C. Clarke, the three-part drama depicts the arrival of a seemingly friendly alien race that wants to make Earth a conflict-and- disease-free paradise for humans.

But as revealed in the final minutes of Monday night’s opener, alien leader Karellen (Charles Dance, “Game of Thrones”) closely resembles a most sinister depiction of Satan — down to the leathery skin, twisty horns, massive wings and long, pointy tail.

Matthew 25:31-46New International Version (NIV)

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

According to the bible, that's how the anti-christ sucks people in. He seems to be the savior, the one who truly has all the answers, the Deus Ex Machina..the absolute and true hero and the people of the world will give him their Will in return for his loving approval. That is why there is a warning to "beware of false Messiahs"

trump has delusions of being these things and while it's true trump's base believed he could do no wrong, there were many more of us who were not fooled. In order for him to be the anti-christ, the entire world would have to be kneeling at his feet in supplication and surrender.

IMHO trump is the bizarro anti-christ, he is the vomitous excretion from hell where he was discarded as flawed and unfit even for demons. He is only capable of hollow pretense because he is the reflection of the worst of us. He is the seed of human failing. He will always fail because he cannot think beyond his own self hatred and judgment.

trump is a 'wanna-be' anti-christ
