All this secrecy is a republican "wet dream"

It should not come as any shock that the press is being shut out.
It should not come as any shock that the AHCA is being drafted behind closed doors.

For as many years as I can remember the repubs have championed, "government ran like a business" (fascism).

Now they are heading there...quickly.

This is just the start. Look for a time soon when no debate on any bill in Congress shall be public, and when the laws when enacted won't even be fully available for the public to read.

They will pass whatever they like if the public doesn't get to find out about it they will pay no political price. I can see it now.

threats of a Republicans Controlled Congress one year ago. Many of us predicted this would be McConnell and Ryan's game plan. Corporate America owns and Controls the GOP and their so called Seat Warmers,and now we see what happens when people stay home and refuse to get involved.

The GOP will start saying that they have to keep the negotiations and drafts secret because the "evil, obstructionist Democrats" would not let anything pass if they were ever told what was being considered.
