In 2009-2010, the ACA had over 100 committee hearings. It had over 100 minority amendments accepted. It also allowed 25 days of open debate. And the Republicans complained that this was done in secrecy . In 2017, the Republican Senate AHCA offers none of this. It is being created in secret by thirteen, old, white men, with no drafts available, with no public input allowed, and no amendments in committee allowed.

Are you mean? Are you a son-of-a-bitch? That is what the pResident has called the House AHCA. Are you re-creating the House bill or making a worse one?

Are you going to willingly kill millions of Americans by denying them health care. If it is too expensive or doesn‘t include the Essential Elements, it is a denial of health care. If there are pre-existing conditions, it is a denial of health care. If life time and annual caps are in place, it is denial of health care. If you deliberately kill millions of people, you are no better than Pol Pot, than Mao, than Stalin, than Hitler. And that is what you are complicit in. You will deny millions of Americans health care and kill them. All this for a 300 billion dollar tax cut for the 1%. Is this mass murder compassion? That is what OMB Director, Mick Mulvaney, called all this - compassion. You will be committing homocide and you will be okay with it. Why the rush? Party over country? Why are you committing this grossly obscene conspiracy.

So much for access to quality healthcare. I have pre-existing conditions, very expensive pre-existing conditions, and by passing this abomination of a bill, you have killed me. Not today, but too soon. First, you will strip me of all resources and then I will die in pain, alone, without compassion. Does you conscience bother you just a little? If it doesn’t, you are a psychopath.
