All this investigating that's going on may or may not amount to much, but if we only get ONE thing done between now and 2020 it needs to be protecting the integrity of the vote, period. I'm going to be pretty upset if we pour all this attention and energy into chasing our collective tails on an investigation that doesn't pan out and then in the meantime we have to "trust" the electronic voting machines again. I'm not saying we should pull away from the investigation, but we should be matching the amount of fury that we're putting into the investigations with a movement to secure the vote via a paper ballot system.

But make no mistake about it, the ruskies will be around in 2018 and in 2020 with new and improved meddling techiques. Don't take my word for it.

It's bad enough that our voting apparatus IS so damn vulnerable, but on top of that Dems are screwed 1,000 ways from Sunday in 2018 and 2020 unless something "miraculous" happens IE: We come out to actually vote an our votes count and aren't voter-purged, voter-crosschecked, gerrymandered, voter ID'd off of voting data bases and voter rolls and whatever ELSE thuglicans and their new buddies the ruskies use to make Dems votes "disappear" during the next rounds of votes in 2018 and 2020.
