I've got to unplug from politics for a while

The losses are wearing me down-I feel like we are bereft of leadership- our elected Democrats are impotent- my hopes for retaking Congress now seem to be a foolish dream. There has got to be more to life than being obsessed with this shit the way I am now. I'm generally a positive person but I'm having trouble finding a positive vision. So even if Trump gets busted for who knows what- how will that change anything? As long as the Repugs call the shots nothing will change. It's very depressing. Sorry to vomit.

I can't watch it anymore. We never win. How did this country come to the point where we are ruled by a truly ignorant 30 percent. Too much.

He did great, gave it a great shot. After he fell short the first round, I don't think he was expected to win. Only here on DU did some get so worked up over polls and hoping with every hope he would win. That built up more pressure for some.

Remember, it's Georgia. Not California, New York, Massachusetts, etc.

You live in Nashville? Get out and do something fun. Museums, Sounds games, good music venue, go for a walk at radnor. A break will do you good. We all need one sometimes.

For that I am eternally grateful. My little corner of the world remains beautiful and compassionate.
