IT is CRYSTAL clear.

Our elections are no longer safe. Our Government is corrupt. America and her citizens are in peril. We are no longer safe from the government that swears an oath on the bible to look after our well being. They, one and all are only looking to line their pockets. That is it, they only seek wealth.

The rePukes are behind closed doors plotting DeathCare for millions of Americans. They want to take our healthcare away. After the bill got pushed to the Senate they all stood in the Rose Garden and laughed and cheered. They hugged and slapped each other on the back. They practically wet themselves in their orgasmic glee. Then they pulled out their kegs of beer and celebrated the deaths that would ensue. Do you get this? Do you? They cheered for a bill that they knew would kill their fellow Americans. Let that sink in for a minute.

They have made it perfectly clear...crystal clear is if you are not a white supremist and a rich homophobic, sociopathic, racist, misogynist man, suffering from islamophobia and anti-Semitism then you are not part of their America. NOR WOULD I WISH TO BE.

Within the mother lode Lamb found on the center’s website was a database containing registration records for the state’s 6.7 million voters; multiple PDFs with instructions and passwords for election workers to sign in to a central server on Election Day; and software files for the state’s ExpressPoll pollbooks — electronic devices used by pollworkers to verify that a voter is registered before allowing them to cast a ballot. There also appeared to be databases for the so-called GEMS servers. These Global Election Management Systems are used to prepare paper and electronic ballots, tabulate votes and produce summaries of vote totals.

The files were supposed to be behind a password-protected firewall, but the center had misconfigured its server so they were accessible to anyone, according to Lamb.

the daily horrors that come out of the WH and Washington, the Russian infiltration goes further and deeper displacing our democratic process and replacing it with the rot of those that demand wealth and unmitigated power. I'm afraid that we don't have a prayer of winning anything in 2018 or 2020. Our country is indeed sick and corrupt. You're correct, she. This isn't our America.

and think about winning. We out number them. What they have over us is that they stick together. They did that in 2016 and we battled to destroy ourselves from within. We must stick together. We must be true Democrats. We have the numbers and we do have the message is only we sing from the same page and take it to the media that they must give us the time and fair play that they did not give us in 2016. We do not need outsiders, our tent is and was already big. It was detrimentally split in 2016, not by Hillary, but by her detractors. Remember, lots of GOP voter did not like Trump BUT THEY VOTED FOR HIM. They put their mistrust and dislike aside and WON when they should not have. I blame the divide. It will always be that way if we don't stop sacrificing the good going for the perfect. That is what the GOP has over us. That is what they always had over us. WE NEED TO WAKE THE FUCK UP!! We are our own worse enemies. Months after the election that they won, they are still badgering Hillary and Nancy and that is what they use as glue to hold it together against us. They do not let up. They hold their noses and vote the party!

Just even think about how many Dems treated Obama because he wanted to get something done with healthcare. I remember how he was cursed for not going all the way with universal health care and getting nothing. When will we learn? We are the party with compassion and soul and patriotism. We are the party for inclusion and have worked hard for policies to benefit working men and women for decades. We spend too much time eating our own instead of building up those who are working for our good and not tearing us down. I am proud of Nancy. I am proud of Hillary. I am proud of the so-called "establishment" who carried the message of civil rights, voter rights, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Comp., Workplace safety, Family Leave, Consumer protection and all the other socially responsible programs. But what do we do...join the opposition and shamelessly call for Hillary to shut up and sit down. Bemoan Nancy as too old and out of touch when she has accomplished so much for us in Congress.

Tonight my family in GA made me do angry I could spit. They have begun to sound like the opposition. Sure we can always improve on our party but not by asking loyal Democrats to get lost. WTF is wrong with people?

15. The current state of America
Wed Jun 21, 2017, 04:38 PM
Jun 2017

The current state of America has been developing for a long time. A rough timeline of significant events would include:

1961: Eisenhower warned of the Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex
1963: JFK assassinated
1971: Powell Memo published
1986: Fairness Doctrine repealed
1996: Telecommunications Act passed
2010: Citizens United ruling
2016: Russian-Republican subversion of the American electoral process.

At each step, the power of big-money interests to implement and defend their preferred social order was increased. The majority of those interests appear to have thrown their support behind the "New, Improved Republican Party". At the same time, they have invited huge amounts of dark foreign money into the American socio-political process. Those interests are now thoroughly entrenched, and have commandeered all the levers of true power.

The state of America today is the culmination of an ongoing social monetization process in which cash is king and the poor are Kleenex. Consequently, it's hard for me to see how political action is going to succeed in undoing the last 65 years of unidirectional development. The Golden Rule applies more now than ever: "Those with the gold make the rules."

Absent a social catastrophe, I don't think the situation can be addressed by standard party politics. The problem is now far bigger than mere politics, especially given the damage that has been done to the street-level political process. In the short term, a resolute intelligence community including the FBI may be able to temporarily stem the tide. But the big money interests aren't going anywhere, and their objectives will not change. Also, as Comey said in his Senate testimony, the Russians will be back - and they play a very long game, for keeps.

The only answer I have is to resist in any and every way possible, as forlorn a hope as that may be. It's the only choice.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but that's the way I see it.
