The VA governor's race is this fall--we have an excellent shot.

Unlike the special elections districts, VA is purple. Northam (D) is a doctor and the current Lt. Governor. The Dems are unified behind him. Their voters came out in much bigger #s for their primary than did the Repubs. Gillespie (R) barely beat a Trumpian. Although he will have tons of $ backing him, he's going to have to walk a fine line re: Trump, because Trump's poll numbers are in the low 30s here.
