I still want to know - what preventative steps are we taking RIGHT NOW to prevent this from ever happening again in our elections?

We don't even have a president that acknowledges that the Russians interfered and hacked.

2018 is really just around the corner and will be on us sooner than we think. If nothing is being done to prevent future hacking and interference - then why should the American People even go out to vote. The Congress and our president is sending out a message that they don't care - why should the American People care?

This is all playing into the hands of the Repugs - because - they win when the turnout is light. They have no incentive to take any preventative actions.
