Zephyr Teachout bought a house in my district & still did not win!

It did not work in my district even with Zephyr Teachout buying a house here because people knew why she bought the house and that she had no relationship to the district prior to running here.

I know, I made calls for her for months and spoke with lots of voters (Dems, Indep. & Repub: we called them all)

At least Ossoff was born in the district and lived next door. Not the case with Zephyr who was born in another state and lived and
worked NYC. Not next door. Honestly I don't know what she will do with the house she bought.

1. Zephyr Teachout had no chance whatsoever of winning.

It was a waste of her time, frankly. She shouldn't bother to run, I think.

5. Her name and her support for Bernie Sanders.

That's what I think. She lost by what? 8 points. How did Bernie do in the primary in that district?

I'm sorry to mention her name, of course, but that alone probably cost her half of that 8 point margin. Despite her being a very nice person, and well-qualified, people often vote one way or another for silly reasons.

For people who don't bother to learn anything about candidates, her name essentially says, "I'm a flake." That's silly, but cost her some votes.

Bernie's supporters and endorsees have not done well in actual elections at all. They simply haven't.

no townhall meeting, no stands on any issue, only send out free Congress mailers.

Gillibrand has problem too, if she decides to run for POTUS in 2020 should she run in 2018 for her senate seat??? Big, big, decision; she could lose or she could get primaried by the city faction looking for a place for former Japan Ambassador.

Even if she runs and wins it could hurt her for 2020.

She raised lots of money for her run. She had tried to take out Governor Cuomo in the previous primary and raised a lot of money for that race, too. We need another Gillibrand to beat Faso.
