Why Dems went 0-4 in special elections this year.

"It is not some deep and fatal malady afflicting (the Democratic Party's) messaging, platform, consultants, or ad spending allocation methods. Republicans have won the special elections because they’ve all been held in heavily Republican districts.”

This Might Be the Worst Democratic Freak-out Ever

1. If we want to win more winnable elections...we need to be as tribal as the republicans.

2. Each patriot or American needs to vote for ANY democrat in ANY election

as if their very life depends on it, because it does.

If we dont have record breaking turnout in 2018 we will then be announcing we dont want to continue as is, that we want to either be a Russian satellite or start over.

Problem with the start over is Putin is hoping we go that way, he will then roll on in and take over.

ALBANY — There were two special legislative elections in New York on Tuesday, both won by Democrats. The outcome of one was a foregone conclusion, the other an utter surprise — especially given the convincing margin of victory by the Democrat, Christine Pellegrino.

Ms. Pellegrino defeated her Republican opponent, Tom Gargiulo, in the Ninth Assembly District on Long Island, 58 percent to 42 percent, even though the district is heavily Republican and President Trump won it with 60 percent of the vote.

10. I think they mean the rigged primary where non-democrats pretended to be democrats

instead of complaining after the fact

Now ask yourself how can someone be in Congress for 25 years....and not build the type of relationships which mean that people would vote for him instead of his opponent.

Trust me...he's a jerk who doesn't build relationships. So why should anyone support him.

Even taking 3 formerly republican districts. I think because of that Democrats became blind to danger, just as Trump and republicans are doing now.

There wasn't much attention paid to California's 34th congressional district special election because it was a solidly Democratic seat that the GOP had no chance of flipping, but it does mean that your subject line is inaccurate.

We're like the 1962 Mets at this point trying to bullshit ourselves into thinking we're the 1927 Yankees. Sorry, but nothing succeeds like success. 0-4 is .000 winning percentage.

If we really want to start feeling better about ourselves, we need to start winning. That means rolling up our sleeves and doing it like the repigs do it...by any means necessary and with any/all weapons at our disposal, blow for blow, blood for blood. If that's too high of a price to pay for victory than maybe we should just dissolve the party and embrace our role as America's Helots.
