This is a double digits GOP district. If yhe Yankees win, no big deal. If the Mets win, upset of the century. The Yankees won 5-4 with a lucky run in the 9th. Take away; the Mets are better than anyone thought.

As a candidate, Handel was abysmal. She literally said that she does not support a living wage. She has retrograde views on social issues. She was running against a reasonable, personable, smart, middle of the road Democratic candidate who had national attention and high profile supporters.

Take away: Even a good Democratic candidate with tons of money can't beat a weak Republican candidate tied to an unpopular president in this district.

I don't like these attacks on the Minority leader from our side.

Go after the Republicans, The Greens, The Democratic Socialists, The Conservatives, the Libertarians . . . If you attack Pelosi like Neat or Hannity are cheering you on - you aware against the party.

it's time for a massive change. Managers of losing teams get fired eventually. We can either change course or keep asking why we lost on Wednesday morning in 2 years and 4 years.

And we could have won 16 but we had the alt-left and the Greens...and now they attack our leaders for what they caused...haha what a joke these folks are...we came close in a race for a seat held for more than two decades..that is a good thing.

Since 2012 we've lost the Senate, even more House Seats, more Governor-ships, more State Legislatures. We need to make drastic changes and keeping the same leaders is not going to cut it anymore. You might as well open the 2018 and 2020 post-mortem discussion boards now, if we're not going to course-correct.

In 2012 the Democrats had 191 seats
In 2014 that number went down to 188 (a loss of three)
In 2016 that number went up to 194 - even HIGHER than 2012. So how is it that since 2012 we've lost "even more House seats"?
