GOP has an uphill climb

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Opinion surveys in recent weeks have shown the brunt of public opinion is opposed to the GOP on health care in terms of both substance and process.

... polls, all taken ahead of Thursday morning's public reveal of the Senate Republicans' health care bill, show the uphill climb Republicans .. have to sell their plan to repeal and replace much of Obamacare.

A CBS News poll conducted June 15-18 found just 32% of respondents said they approved of the House health care bill passed in early May. A full 59% of respondents said they disapproved.

... Forty percent said they strongly disapproved of the bill, while only 14% said they strongly approved ...

Senate Republicans health care bill — an attempt at repealing and replacing Obamacare, which is growing more and more popular — was, at long last, revealed ... Reviews.. have been .. negative ...

The Associated Press tweeted the Senate bill scuttles "Obama law, cuts Medicaid, slashes taxes for wealthy" ...

... the latest poll from NBC/Wall Street Journal .. found .. 16 percent .. thought the House .. bill was a good idea while 48 percent said it was a bad idea ...

... Trump .. threw a l.. celebration in the Rose Garden at the White House when House bill passed.

But .. Trump's approval rating immediately fell to a new low ...
