They featured an elderly man who died from waiting for care from the Los Angeles VA.

I was wondering...wouldn't he have been able to use Medicare?

...for her Medicare supplemental and her Social Security deduction for Medicare is maybe $100.

It's better than dying.

3. What is very little to one person can be the difference between eating or having heat etc.
