If Trumpcare goes through, then it's time for bottom-up resistance. "Not Paying"

Paying your tax dollars to legislators with questionable legitimacy to not only tell you that you shall not get the same access to health care they get but now also helping to deliver you reduced quality of care at higher prices is an exercise in masochism. It's time to stand up and say no more. Not Paying.

That's right, Not Paying.

If your medical bills go up under Trumpcare, then do not pay them.
If you do pay, then pay as slowly and as little as possible. Same thing with medical debt collectors, mail them physical checks for small amounts of money.
When a hospital is billing you, then give them the information of your representative, senator, or a member of the electoral college. Tell them they have it covered.
Send them your medical bills anyway.
Not just for patients. If you've got student loans from medical school, then do the same things.
If your healthcare provider has a problem with what you are doing, tell them to take it up with the people who say we have the greatest healthcare system in the world.
Let's ask everybody, "what about a no-payer healthcare system then?"
If you have a medicaid card, keep using it, insist on it

Not Paying.

...Google is your friend for the remaining. As well, ask any Medicare or Medicaid recipient how many doctors/dentists they sought care from before finding one that accepted their insurance.

Better yet, try making a new patient appointment while stating you have Medicare/Medicaid insurance. Invest a bit of time to see for yourself.

That Congress sets reimbursement? [link:https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Medicare-Fee-for-Service-Payment/FeeScheduleGenInfo/index.html|]

My grandmother (veteran), parents (veteran), various relatives, friends (some veterans) have all experienced denial of care based on insurance over the last 13 years increasingly. Mental health, dental, physician....all types of care.

Hope you return for more discussion....there's lots for us to learn!

But hey, go for it on principle anyway.

Better idea, register voters.
