The pro-Trump group "America First Policies" is preparing a massive seven-figure ad buy against Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV), just hours after the GOP senator announced Friday that he would not support the Senate's bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
The ad buy was first reported by the New York Times' Maggie Haberman, who posted the news on Twitter.
The group was formed by six former members of Trump and Pence's staffs, including former spokeswoman Katrina Pierson and former deputy campaign manager Rick Gates. The group formed in January to gather people who "believe in the Trump agenda," Gates said at the time.
This goes beyond Trump supporters, Gates told the Associated Press in January. Were trying to capture all people who believe in the Trump agenda.

(10,495 posts)The money in our politics, which comes from super wealthy and corporate interests, is weaponized to prevent any politician who wants to go against TPTB for the benefit of the people. It is why many of our Democratic politicians continue to let us down. Why Wall Street gets a "Get out of jail free" card with every Administration.
When are we going to make this our number one priority instead of going after the symptoms caused by the money in our politics?

(7,809 posts)He lost this last November to Catherine Cortez Masto. The only other choices are Sharon Angle and Michele Fiore, both are laughably moronic.

(7,809 posts)He was going to lose his seat no matter how he voted on the death bill.
His 'no' vote simply means that he can still show his face in Nevada.
Here's all we need to know.
