Mitch McConnell's reputation as a master tactician is at risk with this healthcare bill.

He has put a lot at stake by demanding a vote before the 4th of July. It will require a propaganda campaign, unlike any we have seen in a while, to persuade Senators from states with so many of their constituents dependent on Medicaid. They have to be willing to step in the water, with no idea how deep it may be? They must put their trust in Mitch McConnell.

If he fails to get the votes required, it could be a heavy blow to his leadership. If he loses just 3 Senators, he could lose the vote on his healthcare/taxcut plan. This could be a devastating hit to his remaining the Majority Leader? If Trump turns against him, he will be too weak to fight back. This is an important vote, in more ways than one.

A part of me thinks he wants it to fail so they can continue to blame the ACA.

using Trump, not the other way around. Trump is serving at McConnell's pleasure, a rubber stamp to push through Rep legislation, in return for letting Trump enrich himself. McConnell could have Trump impeached within a month if he had no more use for Trump.

The Repub Senators up for election in swing states can say they voted against it while Repubs holding safe seats can say they voted for it.

I expect to see far fewer of these miscreants participating in 4th of July parades. Instead of having "pooper scoopers" picking up after the draft animals I'd like to see "shit or shinola" spreaders immediately in front of any republicans in a parade to see if they can tell the difference.

Turtle-man still can't do shit!

All he can do- and I do mean ALL he can do- is obstruct. Now that they control everything, he's out of his depth.

This is the fundamental flaw in the entire teabagger movement. Teabaggers are GREAT at obstruction, but they can't govern at all. Obstructing is easy, Governing is hard!

I'm waiting for someone to report on his PAC and how he is connected to Russia. Propaganda requires $$$. Where is his money coming from? Why was his wife appointed to Transportation when McConnell certainly didn't demonstrate any public loyalty to Trump?

Next to Trump, I'm waiting for McConnell to get his. I hope and pray this healthcare bill will fail. He'll put it up for a vote alright.

I hope there are 3-4 Republicans who care about their country and its citizens to vote NO.
