in the U.S. that support the Repugs Health Care bill.
Surely embarrassment doesn't work on the Senators and Congress critters - but - maybe we need to start paying attention to those that are going to benefit from this healthcare bill - which is really a money grab and giveaway to those people that least need more money.
Surely - as human beings they must have some compassion for the people that they are fleecing.

(5,191 posts)It would be fun to see Fox News lose their shit over their laughable charge of "Class Warfare", when the right has have been engaged in class warfare since Reagan in 1980.

(15,805 posts)with people they view as lesser beings. They don't need to have compassion in their world. They worship wealth and consider greed a desirable goal, so from their POV, why would they feel embarrassed about getting more money?
Rich people are not likely to agree to anything that makes them less wealthy. Any change is going to have to start from the bottom up by convincing voters that their interests are best served by the party that has clear policies to improve their lives. Democrats need to get in the game. We have the policies to help people, the Republicans don't, but they excel at selling their crazy brand and delivering false messages much better than we do.

It would probably be better to get through to those who are hurting. And those who are barely clinging to the middle class. And those who are middle class and know it can slip away with harmful Republican policies. And get their asses to the polls in a massive GOTV effort in EVERY election. Obama has said minorities and the young don't vote in midterms -- that needs to change!

(3,105 posts)The first question should always be 1) do you support the bannon and the rise of Alt Right, and the cover they gave trump?
Why the media is not asking this to every R, every R industry head and so forth, I don't know. What is happening in this country is not normal, and the tRump supporters that brought us to this point should own it, and should be outed.
