Has anybody noticed the glaring moral hazard in the GOP health care bill?

They maintained guarantee issue without the mandate. That means you don't have to buy health care until you are sick, thus raising the premiums of people who paid to maintain health insurance since every claim comes out of the same pool. Think about it. A person could be told he or she needed heart bypass surgery that cost about $70,000-$200,000 or more, and buy a $200.00 a month insurance plan the next day.

It's akin to allowing people to buy hurricane insurance while their home is the eye of it. DemocratSinceBirth Jun 2017 #3
