Trump does the right thing for the wrong reason.

It would be best if government kept its nose completely out of religion as the First Amendment requires, but we all know that had nothing to do with Trump's decision to ignore Ramadan.

If not, then I'm sorry, but they are not doing the right thing by ignoring Ramadan. And I say that as an atheist.

but they have to equally ignore or acknowledge everybody else's religious holidays. You can't make a big deal of Christmas and blow off Ramadan.
