The smart money says Trump Care is a push

A bad CBO score and a few more heart wrenching demonstrations like the one we saw on Friday might do the trick.

As an aside when the police arrest somebody in a wheel chair how do they take care of them?

1. They are supposed to provide medical care in custody, but

in practice, it can be very difficult for them. Disabled people may not get needed medication or access to doctors. It's a difficult situation and the best that can be done is to quickly arraign them and let them go home.

I consider this a done deal. They've been dying to destroy the New Deal and the Great Society for seventy years. They are not going to hesitate to gut the safety net.

The GOP only deals out misery and death. They're going to do this.

The people in control are ruthless, they couldn't care less about any of us. Having this election stolen from us could be the death knell for everything we've fought for for the past 70 years.

This is the dream scenario for the sadistic right. They've sold out everything for this opportunity.

Why do you post such a dismal thing and offer no constructive suggestions?

But they hold all the cards. House, Senate, Presidency, Supreme Court.

All we can really do is protest loudly and hope that the next election isn't fixed.

In the meantime they run roughshod over us all, even the dopes who support them.

I don't see a solution to our problems right now. There's no immediate fix.

He doesn't know what's in the bill. He doesn't care what's in the bill. He just wants a fancy signing ceremony with lots of cameras. After it's over and the nightmare headlines begin, he'll suddenly tweet about how awful the Republicans are and what bad people they are to have created the bill. Democratic campaign ads will write themselves.
