A detailed comparison of ACA, and the House and Senate bills
(Caveat, I am not familiar with the source, but everything I do know about the plans seems correct here. I am sure someone in a health field might be better to say if this is a good source.)
Here is a very clear comparison of the how the three programs differ. Both Republican ones are genuinely immoral - especially as the money taken out will simply go to tax cuts for people who seriously do not need them. http://www.modernhealthcare.com/article/20170622/NEWS/170629952
Note especially what they are doing to Medicaid -- and note that they have the added chutzpah that they will penalize states that spend more than 25% more than their limit --- except for some "low density states" -- Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, and the two Dakotas. (Note wouldn't you say that cost of living might be more relevant than "low density" for medical costs? Here is a link to average nursing home costs by state - https://www.payingforseniorcare.com/longtermcare/paying-for-nursing-homes.html#cost-table What this does is make it more expensive for any state to help its own people beyond their cap.
